Jane lay poised, hair tussling the pillow, as Morgan absorbed her luminous features. He willed the treasure chests upon her cheeks open, so that he may observe their riches. Blue, green, grey; they reflected Jane's mood. At times Morgan sat captivated, dazzled by Jane's optical eclipses. He eased forward a rustic hand, and smoothed her cheek with his knuckles. His crisp lips hung between ecstasy and sorrow. Her glowing presence overtook him and he leaned in to kiss her peaceful lips. His heart attacked his rib cage, in a fit of desperate, weeping love. Morgan held Jane's delicate figure tightly for a moment, as tears rappelled down his worn face. Only she heard him vow to avenge her beauty, and benevolence. His nose nuzzled her soft, cool cheek, one final time. Jane appeared to sadden, as his tear settled beneath her eye. He struggled in pain, and tore himself loose from her side. His rustic hand rose up, grasped the gold handle, and the oak polished lid nestled into place around her. by Lost_Mind_Found_Bob
